Tasseled prayer beads – I’ve seen them all over Instagram swipe ups lately, and although you can find them for relatively cheap (some as low as $10 on Amazon), I decided to make my own!

I love that these are so versatile! You can wrap them around a candle or other decorative piece (like I did), hang them on a wall, or cascade them out of a planter or vase.

Tips!

• I used only hemp because I thought it would look best for the tassels, but when I make my second one, I’m planning to use a much thinner thread for the beads, then attach the hemp tassels (something like the Nylon string I linked below).
• I also underestimated the amount of beads needed; I didn’t want to mix sizes of the beads, but just plainly didn’t order enough!
